Project Overview
This full kitchen renovation was a transformative update to a well-loved home, blending traditional charm with modern functionality. This transitional design focused on creating an open, light-filled space that seamlessly connects the kitchen with adjacent living and dining areas.
Designer: Ted Speir
Cabinets: Omega Cabinets; Surround - Pearl Paint on Inset Beaded door, Island - Shiloh Cabinetry; Iron Ore Paint on Maple
Countertops: Silver Macaubas Quartzite
The new layout features a central island with a built-in cooktop and seating, framed with custom millwork in a contrasting charcoal finish to anchor the space. Crisp white perimeter cabinetry, brushed brass hardware, and warm wood flooring create a balanced, inviting palette, while marble-look quartz countertops and a classic white subway tile backsplash elevate the overall aesthetic.
This renovation honors the home’s original character while bringing it into a new era of comfort and style—proving that with the right design vision, even a dated space can become a forever favorite.
