Formica is a classic decorative product that is composed of several layers of paper impregnated with melamine theromsetting resin and topped with a decorative layer protected by melamine that is compressed and cured with heat to make a hard durable surface.  Today's formica far surpasses the beauty of nostalgic formica in its character of resembling the look of granite and quartz.
